Veronica Maciel is an award-winning producer & 1st assistant director, whose work bridges narrative and documentary filmmaking across Mexico and the United States. A Fulbright-García Robles fellow and recipient of the Legado-Grodman Artistic Grant, her projects have screened at prestigious festivals and markets. She is the co-founder of Pagana Films, a Mexico-based production company whose work has been nominated for an Ariel Award and a Latin Grammy. Veronica currently serves as Coordinating Producer at Go-Valley. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s MFA Film and Media Production program and the University of Guadalajara’s Law School, she brings a sharp legal mind and creativity to cross-cultural storytelling to every project.
